Watch This Before You Install iOS 27
iOS 27 and watchOS 27 are out — and after a few months on the betas, there are some things I think you should know before you hit that update button.
The biggest one caught me completely off guard. If everyone in your family isn't on the same version of iOS, Screen Time requests stop working. My son asks for more time, and I get a message that just says "Unable to Respond." I'm the parent. I'm the organizer of the family. And there's nothing I can do from my phone.
I also get into the Siri situation on both the watch and the phone, who can and can't install these updates, how to go back to classic Siri if the new one is driving you crazy, and what you need to have ready before you update.
